Hair clips broke fast cheap but cuteI love the set! The combs are not as sturdy, but they work well. Also I love the alligator clips. The rubber band are similar to the baby rubber bands. Not tight enough for what I'd use them for.Keeping your school age children’s hair requires good tools. The hair combs and bands will work well with 4B and 4C hair. I dont care much for the rat clips they are pretty uncomfortable actually! But i like the hair combs and the metal hair dividers! Leaves your hair parted with a nice straight line! And leaves your ponytail nice and tight! Would recommend!This is somehow the first time I've come across one of these combs with the extended gap at the top of the teeth. I didn't think it'd be used much, but I've been using it all the time so far. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't try one like this sooner, and I'd definitely highly recommend it to anybody who uses this comb style.I bought these combs for my wife to use on my daughter's hair when braiding. The alligator clips and rubber bands were more of just "bonus items" for us, as we really just bought this item for the combs. Although, my wife was pleasantly surprised by the utility of the alligator clips when parting my daughter's hair into sections for braiding.The combs are durable, the tines are stable and do not break easily, and the pick for parting hair is sturdy. Current price is about $10, making each comb $3.33 if you don't include the rubber bands and alligator clips in the calculation. Overall, a great buy and a perfect set for those learning to braid.
