First I should acknowledge that I do not have natural hair or even especially curly hair, I have long (to my waist) not straight but not curly hair (it has a mind of it's own) and while it isnt thick or thin, I have a LOT of it so it is HEAVY. I wrote a lot in case it will help someone with hair like mine or similar concerns, but here is a quick bottom line summary if you don't want to read.TL/DR: I love them. They keep my hair secure without being tight, no headaches, I don't need to re-do my bun multiple times a day. I am able to adjust the bead first then secure my bun and effectively forget about it. There might be a small learning curve to figuring out how tight you like the tie to be, but not really different from learning how stretchy any new hairtie is. I plan to get some for my sister and best friend!Basically in the summer, and def throughout the pandemic, I pretty much want my hair in a bun, up off my neck and out of the way. When I was going into an office I used a claw clip and that works well, but when you are working from your couch a bun is much more comfy. Usually the only way I can hold all my hair up without having to readjust or redo it is to do the bun where you twist your hair and then wrap it around itself which every hairdresser has told me is bad for your hair and causes breakage. However, when I try to do it the other ways, my hair is so heavy that they all fall out and I am constantly having to take out the hair ties and redo the bun. Aside from annoying, this also tends to pull out my hair or create knots that also pull out hair. So despite not having the hair these bands are created for, I found this listing and watched the videos and decided I wanted to support the brand. Best case I found an awesome hair tie, worst case I could sanatize and give them to a friend. For awhile I used the knotted elastic ribbon hair ties (RIP twistband) and I liked them, I even still use them from time to time for a side braid etc, but they all eventually stretch out to the point where you can't use them. Then I switched to Invisibobble and again, I liked them, and they could support my hair in a bun much better than the ribbon bands, I still use them occasionally, they are great on wet hair or for swimming as they don't absorb any moisture, but again, even the stiff "power" versions stretch out and additionally I couldn't really use them for a pony tail bc my hair would slide out and they aren't meant for securing a braid etc. (and a little nit picky, sometimes the spot where they glued the ends is rough and scratches my hand/wrist).Bunzee Bands - I freaking LOVE them. ok, no joke, for the first time possibly ever, I was able to put my hair up in a nontwist bun and not only did it stay up and it felt secure, my hair did not move. And not in a 'pulled so tight it cannot move' way, but in a 'I forgot I am using a hair tie' way. Here is an extreme example, and I am not proud to admit this, but during one particular rough pandemic week, I put my hair up after a shower and didn't touch my hair until 4 days later, slept in it and everything. And while it didn't look cute, my hair was still in a messy bun and it wasn't falling down. I haven't notice it pull any hairs out (unless you don't follow the instructions and tighten without stretching it away from your hair) I want to make the distinciton that that it doesn't PULL my hair out because there are some hairs around the band sometimes, but I shed a LOT so logically it seems likely these are hairs that had already fallen out. That being said, I am gentle when take out hairties. My only "complaint" is that I want more colors lol I would love to see some navy, deep forest greens, and dark purples, those type of jewel tones. But that is jut me being greedy. I can recommend this for anyone who has heavy hair and struggles to find a tie that doesn't droop or slip, also for people with sensative scalps or get headaches from updos. I can totally see how these would be amazing for curly hair and natural hair. They probably wouldn't be the best for thin hair or ppl who just dont have a lot of hair as it would be too muchI thought that I was buying the bigger headband kind because I have natural hair that's a little on the thick side, but I found that this size actually works for me. If you follow the instructions and place your fingers between the bead and your hair before you pull it to adjust it then your hair won't get caught in the bead. They are comfortable and don't seem to stretch all out of shape like most hair ties/pony tail holders. I don't get headaches like I usually do with other pony tail holders except a slight headache one time when I had it pulled too tight. The good thing is that you can adjust it, so all I did was pull the little bead to loosen it up a bit and my headache went away. You can't do that with regular pony tail holders. The main reason why I bought these is because I get headaches whenever I wear pony tail holders and these do a great job at allowing me to wear the style that I want without having a migraine. I'm definitely pleased with these. I also like the brown and beige ones. I'm going to get those next.I'm a black woman with natural hair and i bought these for the rare occasions I put my hair in a ponytail. Really like these - they don't get stretched out after multiple uses and they stay in place. I can wrap it around my pony 2, 3 or 4 times with no consequences. Wish i had one of these a lifetime ago. These hair bands work really well and I must say I’m happy to have made the purchase. I got the pack with 1 black and 1 brown and it worked out perfect as I went from black to brown hair.Just be careful when adjusting the tightness of these bands as your hair can get snagged. Also, it appears these bands are loosening a bit as I’ve been wearing them (either one) almost daily for about 2 mths now. Finally, I think they’re a little pricey, but then again no one forced me to buy them. I wanted hair ties/bands that worked well and these definitely do. I’m planning to purchase more.**update** I realized i ordered the wrong size. For adults i def recommend doing the larger size. This fits my daughter's hair perfectly amd doesn't hurt her, however i originally bought if for myself and after wearing it for a few minutes it was very uncomfortable and actually hurt to wear it. I tried keeping it in for a full day in hopes that it would stretch and be easier to use however that didnt happen. I wouldn't recommend for adults. My hair was almost to my waist and most ponytails would snap after a week of using them on my hair. This one held up while others would snap. I was not able to use it with the tightening bead, but I do use it as a regular ponytail. Most ponytails would stretch to their thinnest point or snap by now but this ponytail is still the same since I bought it. It does not hurt my hair but it does pull some hair out, which is normal for any ponytail I use. I definitely recommend this ponytail and would buy this again!I would say these are very much worth buying if you have afro textured hair. I’m a natural w/3c/4a dense hair and after it grew past my shoulders, I could only use scrunchies or a ribbon to keep my hair in puffs. These definitely come in handy for a puff or two. Although, I have somewhat of an issue trying to adjust and tuck when doing two puffs, but I’ll figure it out. Overall I really like these! This is suppose to have 3 bands, but it only had 2 in it. Otherwise it’s okArrived on time, and well packaged. I had very high hopes for it, but I was a bit disappointed. I have Afro hair and wanted to use the Bunzee Bands to style my hair, unfortunately it turned into another hair tie that I just throw into the drawer. Maybe the solution would be to try the headbands that way I would be able to adjust it. Overall not a bad product, but if your hair is more Afro like, maybe try the headband instead. So far these are the best! I LOVE how I can adjust them to the perfect fit! I wish they were available in a smaller size for half up-half down styles without so much material hanging off the end. It’s good that they adjust but they often pull hair in when you try. I prefer the Hairstrong scrunches that are covered with material so it doesn’t pull. It's not the same 3 colours came and they're smallFit perfectly
